An Incredible-y Good Resort!

There are lots of Disney resorts you can stay at, but nothing beats the ease of getting to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort.

The Contemporary is one of Disney's first and most well-known resorts. You've probably seen its unique A-Frame shaped main building or at least passed through it on the Monorail.  The Contemporary has had some changes and additions over the years.

Recently most of the Contemporary's rooms have had an Incredibles themed makeover.  It really fits with the kind of retro-modern chic atmosphere that the Contemporary provides.

We loved the Incredibles, so it was really cool to see all the little touches they added to the rooms and hallways to bring that theme to the forefront.  I couldn't help but spout off lines when we stayed in our Frozone themed room!

As with staying at any Disney Deluxe Resort you get a LOT of perks.  Lets do a run down of everything that comes with staying here.
The biggest perk is, of course, proximity.  You have a quick 10 minute walk to the gates of Magic Kingdom!  You can always just hop on the Monorail over to MK or even change over to the Epcot line.  The Monorail makes every trip that much easier.
The Contemporary has 3 different buildings on property.  There's the Main Building, the Garden Wing, and Bay Lake Tower.  Not all rooms here are created equal.  I definitely felt our Studio Room at Bay Lake Tower was much smaller than our rooms over in the Main Building.
The rooms are quite spacious!  They just made the rooms bigger back when these resorts were first built so you always have more space in the older buildings.

And the theme is just super cute.
When we stayed on Club Level our room was focused on Frozone!

If you have a theme park view room you can see the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from your balcony!  It's always really cool to be able to see Cinderella's Castle and Space Mountain from your Balcony.

Our balcony on Club Level was HUGE!  We could all lounge out there and still have plenty of room!

If you stay at Club Level you also get all those cool Club Level Perks.  The Club Level Lounge is always open to grab a bite to eat and some drinks before you and after your trip to the parks.

There's also the concierge level service you get to help you make reservations and plans on your trip.
Now don't worry if you didn't get a park view room.  If you head over to the Main Building the 4th floor has a wonderful viewing area where you can enjoy the fireworks too!  They even pump in the music from MK to really make it an experience.

The Contemporary also has some amazing on-site dining locations!  Steakhouse 71 is right downstairs for some good food options and Chef Mickey's is a solid character meal on the 4th floor.  Both are great choices when it comes to Disney dining.

With having such easy access to both Magic Kingdom and Epcot, Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great choice amongst all of Disney's resort properties.  (We adore Epcot!) We had a great time on these trips. Let us know in the comments what your favorite Disney Resort is.  We love to hear back from our clients.

As always, when its time to plan for Disney it's:
