Let's Ask the Kids!

Zoey and Niko are with us 95% of the time when we are traveling.  And we always keep them in mind when planning our vacations.  We specialize in family vacation planning after all!  If the kids aren't having fun, it makes the grownups not have any fun.

These little buggers have been hitting Disney since they were about 2 and 4.  So I decided I'd ask them about their favorite rides/experiences at each of the U.S. Disney parks.  Coast to coast, which rides did you like the most?  Here it from the mouths of our lil ones.  We'll go park to park and see what they have to say.

For context:  Zoey is now 13 and Niko is 11.

Walt Disney World

Gabe:  So I thought it would be a good idea for you two to let our Mouse O'Clock Blog readers know what your favorite rides were in each of the Disney parks. and maybe why you think it's the best.

Gabe:  So Zoey which ride do you love the most in Magic Kingdom?

Zoey:  Right, Magic Kingdom, my favorite ride in Magic Kingdom would have to be the Tron ride.  It was really cleverly designed and you go so fast at the beginning!  I really think you should get the lightning lane to ride it, it's worth it!
Gabe:  Niko, same question.

Niko:  My favorite ride in Magic Kingdom is Big Thunder Mountain.  Thunder Mountain is my favorite because it's fast and has lots of turns.

Gabe:  So what about Hollywood Studios?

Niko:  My very favorite ride is Hollywood Studios is Rise of the Resistance because it has a very good story while you're riding it and it's fun!
Gabe:  Zoey, Hollywood Studios?

Zoey:  In Hollywood Studios I think the best ride would have to be Smuggler's Run because I feel like there's no other ride like that in any of the parks.  It's a really unique experience and I love the fact that you get to interact and make your own story.

Gabe:  Last Park of Disney world, Animal Kingdom.  Favorites?

Niko:  My favorite ride in Animal Kingdom is the Kali River Rapids because it's a water ride.  It's one of the only rides you get wet on, so if't a hot day it's nice to go and get wet!
Gabe:  Let's talk about EPCOT, what's your favorite there?

Niko:  EPCOT, my favorite is Guardian's of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.  It's a lot of fun. At least it was a lot of fun for me.

Zoey:  EPCOT my favorite thing to do is actually not a ride, it's to go around the world and eat all the different food from all the different cultures.  I get that feeling since you get to try everything and thats something that's fun for me.

Zoey:   In Animal Kingdom, my favorite ride is expedition, Everest I really like that ride more than the shows and the safari.  I think it’s really cool to go backwards and see all that and then to go to the gift shop afterwards and see all the yeti things that are really cute.

Gabe:  Niko, same question, Disneyland favorite?

Niko:  Disneyland, Okay, my favorite ride in Disneyland is Space Mountain in May when it's the Star Wars theme.

Gabe:   So when it's Hyperspace Mountain and has all the flying X-wings and Tie Fighters with the Star Wars music.

Niko:  Yes!  That's my favorite, it's awesome!
Gabe:  What about Disneyland?  Which is your favorite over there?

Zoey:  In Disneyland my favorite thing to do is to go on the Haunted Mansion.  Especially when it is the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.  I REALLY LOVE the Haunted Mansion!

Gabe:  Last one is California Adventure, at least until we go over seas to see the other parks.

Zoey:  My all-time favorite thing in California Adventure is to go to the Avengers area.  Really love all the rides and I love seeing the actors and the little shows that they have sometimes.  I just really love that area.

Gabe:  Niko, last question.  California Adventure?

Niko:  My favorite ride in California Adventure is the Incredibles ride.  Why it's my favorite...
It's my favorite ride because I like drops and it has a lot of drops like *thump* *thump*...

I swear these are the exact responses they gave me in our interviews, LOL!  I certainly did not expect some of these answers.

These kids are seasoned Disney veterans like their parents.  With as many times as they've been they've been able to try everything and build their own opinions.
