There were a lot of topiaries to be seen while visiting this festival. Think of them as green garden statues! They can be found all over the park and just add that green touch of whimsy to everywhere you look. You can spot the gardeners coming in to tend to these living statues. They are, after all, made from growing flowers and plants. But there is so much more to the Flower and Garden Festival than just flowers and plants. What keeps us coming back for the festivals? The food of course! We love to walk around the world and taste food from all over the world. The food stands during the festivals give you more of an opportunity to savor all these flavors.
And of course with each festival we have a fun little scavenger hunt for the kids. This festival we got to look out for Spike the Bee in his Pollen Nation Exploration. Spike was hiding out in some of the garden displays and the kids always have to scout each area thoroughly so we don't miss him. The kids got some pretty cool cups as their rewards for find Spike all over the park.
