Concierge Be Classy!

This was our first time sailing Concierge with Disney.  While we have been on the Magic 4 times before and on all of the other ships too, Angie decided to splurge and upgrade our room at the port.  Now since we upgraded at port we did miss out on a few of the perks that come with cruising concierge, but I'll make sure to cover them to.

All I can say is WOW!  Disney knows some luxury!  Let's talk Concierge!

This was all on the Disney Magic, so somethings will be different from ship to ship.  I have heard the lounges are really nice on the newer ships.

Typically when you book concierge you get a few advance perks.  You are the first to pick excursions and activities!  You can make a list of what you are looking for, from excursions, character meet and greets, and specialty dining, and the Concierge Team will get it booked for you.  Concierge guests also get priority boarding and disembarkation.  It was really cool being able to get off the ship without having to wait in a line.
Since we upgraded at the port, we were able to immediately get on the ship.  Concierge guests have a separate lunch where you get to meet some of the Concierge team.  The food was the same offerings as the regular sit-down lunch but with extra cast members making sure you are taken care of and two complimentary alcoholic beverages.

Concierge guests even get complimentary wi-fi.  Since we were in the 1-Bedroom Suite we had the higher tier internet package.
Since we had time to kill till our room was ready we went to check out the Concierge Lounge.

We probably spent half our cruise hanging out here.  It's very similar to the Club Level Lounges of Disney's Deluxe resorts.  There were ample areas to sit and relax.  There was always some food set out to snack on as well as a fridge with plenty of drink options.

The food was fantastic, definitely on the higher end.  Nothing was served hot, but everything was really good!  Niko loved running up to the lounge to grab Scones around Afternoon Tea.

We had some great Sushi, Charcuterie, fresh fruit, pastries, and so much more.  Whenever we were snacky we'd check out what was currently offered in the lounge.
Not to mention the Open Bar from 5pm to 10pm.  The staff would mix you up almost any drink from behind the bar.  I had an amazing Key Lime Martini one night.  The larger ships have their own sun decks with hot tubs and the Wish and Treasure even have their own wading pool.
Here's a quick video tour of the lounge.

The Lounge also has it's own character meet and greets.  There was only one on our voyage, they didn't know what character was going to show up till he actually arrived.  We got to have some personal time with Goofy without the need to wait in any lines.  We were called up from our little table where we were enjoying our snacks.

Service was always top notch here!  The Concierge staff was always walking around to collect plates and making sure you had everything you needed.

We spent a good portion of our time back at our room.  Angie splurged for the 1-Bedroom Suite!  And OH MY was this room lovely!  I've lived in apartments smaller than this.  The kids had to share the pullout bed, but we finally got to have a little privacy with out separate bedroom.

There are plenty of perks to the Concierge room.  We particularly loved that they stocked our room with bottled water and soda every day.

Concierge guests also enjoy upgraded amenities.  Upgraded linens, toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers!  We really liked the upgraded soaps and shampoos.  The kids loved the special lavender bath sponge.
Our room was an accessible room, so we had a large shower instead of a tub.  That was an amazing shower.  I already told Angie I want a shower like that at home!  Because our room has a dining table we could even get room service sent from the main dining rooms directly to our stateroom.

We had to at least try it out for breakfast one morning.

We even had 2 Stateroom attendants, so we never lack for anything in our room!
Concierge guests also get priority seating for all the shows.  We get to pop in a good half hour beforehand to pick our seats and get Free Popcorn!

The free popcorn was for the entirety of the cruise.  Zoey watched a few movies in the theater so took every chance to grab some popcorn.

The Concierge team took great care of us.  If we hadn't already been seasoned cruisers it would have been great to have their help in grabbing reservations for Palo or even a Cabana at Castaway Cay.

We had an amazing voyage for our "Babymoon."  Would you splurge and go concierge?

As always we're here to answer any questions and give you the best advice to make that next Disney trip or cruise a Magical Experience.
